People looking for work in the Moorlands know that it can be tough to access support especially as there hasn’t been a permanent Job Centre in the district for a number of years.
If you have been struggling to find a job and need some help, an alternative is to come to one of our local work clubs. These have been set up by local partners including the county council and are run through Staffordshire Moorlands Community and Voluntary Services.
You’ll get a warm welcome and help with completing forms, setting up a CV and interview practice.
You may even feel that you want to help others and volunteer at the club yourself whilst you’re looking for your next job opportunity.
More information about where the clubs are held, what days and times can be found at: www.smcvs.co.uk
And if you feel that you could spare an hour or two volunteering at a work club or fancy doing something completely different; there are loads of volunteering options available. Check out the details
