Let’s get straight to the point. In Staffordshire you’re safer than you’ve ever been before.
Crime is continuing to fall, and living in Staffordshire means that you live in one of the safest places in the country.
Anti-social behaviour, property crime and violent crime are all down, and your chances of being a victim of any type of crime has never been lower.
But that may not mean a lot to you. You may not even believe it. But we know that for you to be happier, healthier and more independent, it’s not just about being safer, but about feeling safer.
So for the county council, Staffordshire Police, the Police and Crime Commissioner and for community safety organisations across Staffordshire, it’s a cause of some concern to know that being being worried about experiencing crime is far more common than crime actually happening.
But we need to understand why, so that we can come up with new ideas and solutions that can help you to feel safer, more confident, happier and more supported in and by your community.
The solutions aren’t obvious because the reasons aren’t obvious. You need to tell us. We need you to get involved.
It could be anything, and we want to know about it. We’re listening.
Tell us if you’re worried about crime, and if you are, what makes you feel that way, so that we can tell you more about what we’re doing to prevent it in your area.
We have created an online app for you to do just that. Simply access the app below, and it will take just a couple of minutes to answer five simple questions, and allow you tell us about the local issues that concern you. Go on, we’re listening.
