Welcome to your March issue of ‘My Staffordshire Extra’, our new e-magazine to keep you up to date with our latest news, campaigns and projects.
With Spring in the air, there’s lots to tell you about. From the new season’s attractions at the wonderful Shugborough Estate to our latest plans on how we are attracting businesses and jobs to the county.
In ‘My Money’, read about our plans to freeze council tax again this year! I understand that families are having to make every penny count these days and we don’t want to add extra burdens to peoples’ household budget. That is why we have again agreed to freeze the county’s council tax, which makes up by far the largest part of your council tax bill. Three years of freeze and one of reduction make Staffordshire the lowest county council tax in the country again.
