Answering Your Questions
Brad Evans is one of the Customer Service Advisors who is on hand to answers residents’ queries every week day between 9 and 6pm.
“More and more people are using social media to do their daily business– it’s not just an optional extra anymore.
If a resident has a question about the services that they pay their council tax for, they want to be able to do this in a way that is easy and convenient for them.
My job is to answer questions that people ask on social media about council services. Queries can range from recycling to reporting a pothole to booking a wedding appointment with a registrar and no day is ever the same.
With more and more people using smart phones and laptops and tablets, they want to be able to ask questions there and then over social media rather than only having the option of making a phone call.
“It means people can raise a query and go about their daily lives while I find out the answer for them. I aim to come back to as soon as I can or if I don’t know the answers, I’ll signpost them to someone who does.
It’s a new area for me and I’m really enjoying it so far. Residents appreciate that you’re doing your best to help and that’s good enough for me.”
So why not check us out, we’re a pretty social bunch.
